You will learn how to organise your playlists, access features like Loop, Hot Cues, set Memory Markers, FX, EQ and more. Using these techniques will help you be creative and allow you to successfully Play your nonstop DJ set using the Traktor DJ software.

Topics
Session 1: Introduction To Traktor DJ

Familiarise with the Traktor DJ software, its user interface and functional capabilities. You will learn to navigate the software with ease, and begin exploring the DJ features and functions

Session 2: Genres, Timing, 2 Decks & DJ Mixer

Learn the various dance music genres/styles and the different ways and techniques to study and identify the structure and details of a track. You will practice ear training exercises to develop, build and maintain body rhythm and groove, and being able to use the Essential mode with DJ player & DJ mixer on Traktor DJ software.

Session 3: Memory/Hot Cues, Loops & EQ Control 

Build DJ performance skills by practicing prime applications of DJ player functions, DJ mixer features and performance techniques within the Traktor DJ software.

Session 4: Recording Your DJ Set

Learn all the aspects of preparing well to perform a DJ set. Explore creative ways to mix between two tracks to enhance the performance experience and learn how to record a nonstop DJ set or mixtape.
