Session 1: Introduction To Rekordbox

Familiarise with the Rekordbox DJ software, its user interface, and its functional capabilities. You will learn to navigate the software with ease and begin exploring the DJ features and functions.

Session 2: Genres, Timing & Performance Mode 

Learn the various dance music genres/styles and the different ways and techniques to study and identify the structure and details of a track. You will practice ear training exercises to develop, build, and maintain body rhythm and groove, and being to use the tempo, mixer, and performance mode of Rekordbox.

Session 3: DJ Player And DJ Mixer 

Build DJ performance skills by practicing prime applications of DJ player functions, DJ mixer features, and performance techniques within the Rekordbox DJ software.

Session 4: Recording Your DJ Set

Learn all the aspects of preparing well to perform a DJ set. Explore creative ways to mix between two tracks to enhance the performance experience and learn how to record a nonstop DJ set or mixtape.
