Pro Kids - Bass

The Pro Kids Bass course is designed for budding musicians who are keen to develop their ability to express musical creativity as young bass players. Taught by True School’s team of experienced faculty through fun and engaging music lessons, the course prepares students to achieve age-appropriate musical milestones through gamified and interactive learning, which is key to our teaching style. This Study@home program blends several learning tools, such as live online music classes, instructional videos, interactive quizzes, collaborative learning with other students, music making and song analysis to provide a wholesome music learning experience that encourages and motivates students to explore further and hone their talent.

Prerequisites

• Children with little or no musical experience are welcome to join the course.

Course Info

• 3-year study pathway, with 33 weeks of guided online learning per year
  
  
• The 33 weeks per year are divided into 3 terms, consisting of 11 weeks each. 
  
  
• Levels 1 and 2 consists of 1.5 hours of online class per week, covering bass techniques (which include bass theory) and performance coaching. 
  
  
• Level 3 consists of 2 hours of online class per week, covering bass techniques, music theory, and performance coaching. 
  
  
• Student achievement is measured through weekly progress assessments
  
  
• Performance assessments are conducted at the end of each term
  
  
• 3 months summer break (April - June)
